Tamagotchis are virtual pets that come on a keychain. You may like to put them
on a lanyard, or some sort of necklace. Anyway, the Tama has ten icons on it. Stats, Feed, Bathroom/Clean, Games, Connect,
Time out/Praise, Medicine, Lights, Friends/Presents, and the Attention Icon.
If you go into the stats, it'll display a Hunger and Happiness meter, how well
the Tama is trained, name, weight, years, Gender and generation.
Food will display a screen that'll say "meal" and "snack." Snack is simply something
to increase the Happiness meter by one. Meals are for increasing the Hunger meter by one.
If your Tama needs to go, then go to the toilet icon. If there is a "mess" shall
we say in the Tama's area, go to the toilet icon.
The game icon will show a screen saying "Jump" and "Dance". With jump, you press
button A or B to jump over hurdles. Dance is a game where you press A B or C to make the Tama jump and go side-to-side.
Connect is for making friends, getting presents and contests.
If your Tama is crying or in a bad mood, then praise him or her. If they call for
nothing, then give them a time-out.
If a skull or tooth symbol is in the corner, then use medicine until the Tama jumps
up and down.
When your Tama is ready to go to bed, turn off the lights. They turn back
on when your Tama wakes up in the morning.
While connecting, your Tama will make friends. Go to "Present" to
view the non-edible presents you've recieved. Go to "Friend" to see all your Tama's friends. One face means aquaintence, two
means buddy, three means friend, four means good friend, two hearts two faces means best friends, and all hearts means-
well, you get it.
The attention Icon will be highlighted if your Tama calls you.
Those are the icons. And the actual Tamagotchis start as a Babytchi, then grow
to a toddler, to a teenager, to adult. And maybe they'll make it to mature adult. There's one character for the baby stage,
two for toddler, four for teenage, nine for adult, and three for mature adult.
